Principal Classical Ballet Teacher & Administrator
Nutmeg Conservatory for the Arts, an established and respected private 40 year-old Classical Ballet Institution in the Northeast, which focuses on Academic and Professional Classical Training seeks a visionary, career-oriented, energetic classical training pedagogue, who also has administrative and managerial credentials.
Requirements:
Education: Masters Degree or equivalent in professional experience
Artistic: Knowledge of dance world, styles of dance and methodical classical ballet training.
Ability to communicate with professionals in the field.
Ability to stage classical and contemporary repertoire and to work with a group of artists on developing the organization's performance season.
Managerial & Administrative: Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other relevant programs, as well as overall scheduling capabilities for a full program of classes and rehearsals.
Salary: Commensurate with experience, includes health benefits after ninety days and pension plan after first year.

Substitute Ballet Teacher
The Ridgefield School of Dance is looking for a substitute ballet teacher in the Ridgefield area experienced in teaching ages 3 through 12. Schedule would be flexible and based on needs of the school. Professional background is preferred, but experience is most important.
